Random thoughts
Tonight I go into the bathroom and the door slams shut (because of the wind blowing). I start to think "ah peace and quiet" and am rudely interrupted at the quiet part. RJ bangs on the door and says "are you alright". Then Dominic is furiously trying to turn the door knob. He cannot get it open yet. I could only wish for quiet right now I guess.
Dominic's new favorite thing to do:
Dominic: "maaaaaama"
Me: "yes"
Dominic: "I uv ew" (I love you)
It just melts my heart. He loves to give big squeezes and lay his head on my shoulder. He will sit up and look in my eyes and give me another big squeeze and lay his head down. I could do that all day.
My sister is getting married this Saturday and I am so excited. However, I am just know realizing that I should have gone on a diet, like a year ago. I cannot find anything to wear and time is running out. I missed American Idol tonight to shopping. I came home with a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. Not what I had planned on. Hopefully tomorrows search turns up something better.
8 days of school left. YIPPEE!! I am so ready for the school year to be done. I don't know why. Mackenzie loves school and I like being a parent volunteer. It is fun to go into her classroom and listen to the kids read or staple books together and watch what the kids are learning. I know I could never be a teacher. I have a lot of respect for teachers. They put up with a lot.
Good night. It is after 10:00 and the house is quiet now.

Hey! MY sister is also getting married this weekend and *I* too needed to lose weight for the event but didn't! You're not alone. I'm a bridesmaid but thankfully really (really!) like the dress I'm wearing. It's quite flattering overall, despite my belly bulge. And for that? I totally bought my first "slimmer" (whatever - it's really a girdle - who am I kidding?) and that helps. At least psychologically. Have a great time at the wedding and I'll do the same! Remember to suck it in for the pics - I will be! :)
Thanks mp! RJ was making fun of me because I was out looking for a girdle. I decided not to get it though.
