Today has been a low key day. We have done nothing to speak of. Well, I have done laundry. I mean completely done the laundry. I mean actually put clothes away! I don't do that unless there is a special occasion. I am trying to get ready for Mackenzie's birthday parties next weekend. But, it seems no matter how much I clean, it is a mess 3 seconds later. There are toys everywhere it seems and my kitchen counter is a drop spot for everything. I still have to bake a treat for Girl Scouts tomorrow night. But, hey, I am usually a last minute kind of girl, so I still have time. It is only 7:45. Any body know any fun activities for 7 year old girls? I think we are going to make body glitter and lip gloss. I plan to buy canvas type bags or small purses for the girls to put their stuff in. I am not big into the goodie bags things, but I thought this would be ok. I have no idea what to do for games though. Oh, and it is supposed to rain. So, everything will be indoors. Do you recommend doing cake and ice cream and opening presents first, in between activities or last? Help me out here, please. Back to the grind tomorrow. I am becoming more lazy in my work. I have no real drive or ambition. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. I had such little drive on Friday that I brought work home and got it done in no time at all. I wish I could figure out a way to do my job and stay home. Probably will never happen though.
