This is so much fun.
If you are lacking in the fun department, try this....
1. Leave your home and drop a child off at school.
2. Leave school drop another child off at sitter.
3. Go to work.
4. Stay only for 2 hours and get back in car.
5. Leave work and pick up child at school, which is very near home where you started from this morning.
6. Take child to sitter.
7. Return to work.
8. Stay for 4 hours and get back in car.
9. Leave work.
10. Pick up said children from sitter.
11. Drive home.
You have 30 minutes to complete the following.
12. Fix something edible as quickly as possible.
13. Convince the said children to eat it quickly.
14. Scrub children.
15. Convince 7 year old that she has to wear socks and tennis shoes.
16. Get back in car.
17. Drive to park to drop 7 year old off for camp until bedtime.
18. Get back in car again and drive home.
19. Attempt to get little boy ready for bed. However little boy prefers to run around the house with nothing on and makes you chase him.
20. Clean up the mess that little boy makes while running with nothing on.
21. Get little boy to bed.
22. Clean up the tornado of a family run before 7 year old returns from camp. (7 year old turned the family room into the tornado the night before by making a "house" of pillows, cushions, blankets, etc) This takes an hour.
Repeat most of the above process for a week. It has not even been 2 whole days of it and I wish the week were over. Summer school and camp go all week.
Between steps 10 and 11 find out that your husband has to pack and be out of the house by 7 to leave town for a meeting that he was not supposed to leave for until the next morning.
I do not sleep well when my husband is not home. Therefore, I was up until 1 this morning. But too tired to really accomplish anything productive.
